Pro-bono help for Jay Bybee from Latham Mahoney.

Not only did Bybee reinterpret the law to condone the opposite activity. He now does not have to pay for counsel, an additional punishment that most of us have to suffer.

He will also have competent counsel, one thing that our experiences have identified as being a problem, at least in Virginia. I am sure that Latham will leave no stone unturned in protecting the rights of an individual that gave license to an illegal activity. An activity that is supported by populations that have never been in war or experienced torture.

An activity that reduced the security of this country, the information obtained was used to illicit fraudulent evidence for a war that should never have been entered into.

This individuals judgment cannot be trusted - or - this country embraces "rule of convenience".
